Bryce Powers
I grew up in a family with strong service-oriented values. My father has over 20 years of service as a police officer and my mother has served families for over 20 years as a CPA. These values included working hard, and persevering through adversity. They were reinforced throughout my college football career at Whitworth University, where I had a mentor and coach guiding me on the track to success. These experiences help drive me to be your financial coach and help you pursue your treasured goals.
I’ve always had a passion for making a positive impact in others’ lives. This, plus my interest in the financial world inspired my career choice. I have succeeded in my career because I am a firm believer that genuineness breeds trustworthiness. Each client deserves a genuine relationship along with the confidence to chase their goals. My role as an advisor begins as a teacher. Once the client is armed with the knowledge and education, I then become the coach.
My clients include future-centric individuals, families, and business owners who are dissatisfied with 1-800 service numbers that are difficult to reach and non-personable. They are looking for the education and future outlook they deserve. Among their biggest obstacles is navigating tax implications on their business in order to keep more of their hard-earned dollars in their pocket. My service is unique because I provide education as the foundation of my process to help solve my clients’ uncertainty, and shine a light on how various resources and investment options impact their future. I’m able to alleviate the worry and fear of what is to come, while giving them great service, a trusted relationship, and understandable solutions.
I am a fully licensed Fiduciary Financial Consultant. In addition, I achieved my Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, CRPC® from the College for Financial Planning. Having a CRPC® in your corner can make all the difference, and I want nothing less for my clients.
I am blessed to have my wife in my life. She is the strongest person I know and provides me my foundation and support. We enjoy taking vacations to the lake and the mountain, and as many couples, enjoy binge watching our favorite TV shows. Many weekends we find ourselves visiting and spending time with my parents enjoying my father’s cooking and enjoying a UFC event or movie.
Every second weekend I serve my church community by assisting in the video booth. I’ve grown up in this community and believe it important to give back to the community that helped instil the values I hold today. I enjoy many hobbies such as snowboarding with my wife, fishing out on the lake, taking the motorcycle out for a ride in the foothills of Mt. Rainier, and trips to Westport.
I am a big Seahawks and Huskies fan with football being my favorite sport. Believe it or not, my first name was going to be Austin, but after the movie hit theaters, my parents decided against that name, thankfully!
